Each April, our Parkhurst Dining accounts gear up for an entire month of celebrating the people who make us who we are—our team members!
While Team Member Appreciation Month looks different at each site, one thing that unites us is the recognition of our team members, who work diligently to create smiles for everyone they interact with.
From social campaigns to red carpet events, each team finds a unique way to acknowledge and thank the people that bring Parkhurst to life. Another aspect of the celebration is hosting service awards, during which we honor and celebrate all Parkhurst team members milestones and work-iversaries, some celebrating up to 20 years of service!
For Chatham’s Team Member Appreciation Month, we celebrated team members like Tiffany. You can find Tiff serving up drinks, dance moves, and plenty of smiles to go around at Café Rachel. Some of her favorite café items include the Meatball Sandwich and Wild Berry Smoothie.
Students wrote messages to their favorite dining team members, to show their appreciation to the staff at Colby-Sawyer College.
At Bucknell University, we had a Be Kind reception to celebrate our amazing team members.
At Franciscan University, we had the great joy in celebrating our hard-working team! We raffled off gifts, shared a meal, and recognized those individuals that have been going above and beyond. We are so thankful for each and every member of our team and the outstanding work they do.
At RMU, we got a little silly at our Team Member Appreciation Celebration!

At Loyola University Maryland, we highlighted our Create a Smile Champions for this semester, including Crystal, who is a prep cook in Boulder and has been with Loyola Dining for 10 years! Her favorite food is lasagna, and her favorite memory of working here is Halloween. Thanks for being a champion, Crystal!
In addition to Crystal at Loyola, we also recognized 26 Create a Smile Champions for fall and spring, two Create a Smile MVPs, six five-year Parkhurst anniversaries, 38 ten-year Parkhurst anniversaries, five 15-plus-year Loyola anniversaries, and six student workers.
All April long, Bridgewater College celebrated Team Member Appreciation Month to share extra love with the talented, dedicated, and passionate people that put food on our tables and smiles on our faces. Students showed their love and appreciation by signing positive messages on this poster!
