Blustery winter weather can leave you feeling lethargic and cold, which is the recipe for a dragging week. What’s our go-to food to help our bodies warm up and recharge in these chilly winter months, you may ask? Soup!
All January and February, our sites have been highlighting our Soup’s On! culinary theme, showcasing soups made with homemade stocks and fresh ingredients. Soups can be enjoyed by just about anyone because there is such a diverse range of choices, from bisques to bread bowls and beyond. Additionally, they’re often a healthy pick due to their typically high vegetable content and filling nature. Even if you you opt for rich, creamy soup (we’re looking at you, chowder family), these winter months are the perfect time to indulge a little.
Our featured recipe is a Curried Cauliflower Soup. Both healthy and indulgent, it’s sure to warm anyone up. This antioxidant-rich soup can be enjoyed by itself or paired with a delicious sandwich or baguette. Sounds like the perfect lunch to us. Happy souping!
