It’s the most wonderful time of the year, as our annual Caring for Kids campaign is in full swing! During November and December, across all of our Parkhurst accounts, team members have the option to take part in this fundraiser for local children’s hospitals.
The campaign started in 1979 through the grassroots efforts of a small group of passionate team members. Ever since, Caring for Kids continues to grow in support. The campaign currently benefits more than 15 children’s hospitals. The dollars raised by each Parkhurst location stay local, benefitting the nearest children’s hospital. Across our company and over the years, we’ve raised more than $10.5 million for these hospitals.
One of the most exciting components of the campaign is the Parkhurst Online Auction, which is populated with unique and intriguing items from signed sports jerseys to experiential chef dinners. This year, the Auction begins on December 3 and ends on December 7. Check out the offerings and place your bids here!
In addition to the Auction, team members at some Parkhurst locations choose to fundraise in other ways using their own resources and creativity. The fundraising ideas are endless, and we’ll highlight some in a second edition Caring for Kids blog post. Stay tuned!
